Over 100 new features and software updates With over 100 new features and software updates launched this year, SILQ is saving our clients hundreds of hours of timely administration. Two new features that were particularly long-awaited were bulk invoicing and bank feeds. The new bulk invoicing feature allows SILQ users to bill individual matters, groups of matters, or all matters currently a work in progress, in just one click. SILQ’s new bank feeds feature allows customers to link their bank account to SILQ, automatically importing transactions from their bank. SILQ's automatic bank feeds won the 2025 ABA100 for Software Innovation. SILQ’s practice bank feeds feature helps our clients avoid the cumbersome task of manually entering both received and spent money transactions, thereby simplifying financial management. Additionally, SILQ's advanced system pre-fills much of the required information, further improving efficiency and saving our clients even more time. To deliver this latest feature update, SILQ has partnered with Basiq , an accredited integration partner who complies with Consumer Data Right ( CDR ) practices. While screen scraping is a common bank feed solution that multiple software providers offer, it violates the confidentiality of bank login details. Given the alarming rates of online fraud reported by the Australian Banking Association, SILQ takes our clients’ security and data privacy seriously, so a CDR-compliant supplier was a must. Another benefit of using a CDR-compliant platform is that it remains unaffected when a user changes their password or updates multi-factor authentication (MFA) procedures. This means more reliable uptime for SILQ bank feeds when compared with competitor screen-scraping solutions. With these two new features and many more, SILQ is on track to have its most productive year yet. But it’s not all about us – our clients are reporting increased efficiency and enhanced productivity as a direct result of our new feature releases and platform updates. SILQ has always had an open communication channel with clients, thereby creating a legal tech solution that answers customer needs. Our development pipeline is highly responsive and feedback-led, with fast iterations that solve the challenges our clients face in their workplace. As SILQ looks towards the next 100 platform releases, continuing to build and maintain client trust is at the forefront. Solutions that save time and reduce manual administration tasks whilst protecting sensitive data are a big part of our development in the upcoming months.
